Andrew was more or less ready to grab James and turn him over so he could climb on him, so it comes as a bit of a shock when he's pushed hard back against the bed. He lets out a confused, almost alarmed sound that soon gets swallowed up in James's kiss, but the instinct to struggle dissipates quickly. His heart speeds up when his feels each wrist pinned, thudding away in increasing excitement as he cranes his neck up, pressing into and trying to prolong the kiss.

James eventually pulls away from the kiss, but only gradually, letting Andrew chase the kiss a bit, until he's too far away, and James just smirks down at him, still pinning his wrists. "You're getting a bit excited," he comments smugly. "Perhaps we ought to go about having you restrained."

"Get back down here," replies Andrew, trying to be serious and commanding but utterly failing to keep the idiotic grin off his face. "I wasn't done with you."

Belying his words, he consciously tries to relax and not twist or pull against James's grip. "You might have to do something about that," he agrees.

Andrew can struggle if he wants - James is quite a bit stronger than him, even in this body, so he could probably keep hold of him.

"Mmm, yes, I think I shall," he answers, leaning down to give Andrew the briefest of kisses, before letting go of him and sitting up. He reaches over to the nightstand and pulls out two cuffs, dropping one on the bed, and opening the other one. He takes Andrew's wrist and wraps the cuff around it, once again making sure that they're neither too tight nor too loose, then does the other one as well. "Is that alright?"

Andrew can't resist popping up again onto an elbow to watch what James is doing, unable to simply lay still and wait for him to do what he will. He offers his wrists readily enough, though, sucking in a breath at the sight of the first one wrapped and fastened neatly in place. Even though it's not actually attached to anything, it's exciting to look at it.

"Yeah," he answers with a nod -- it's not hurting him. Brow furrowing, he asks, "Aren't you getting undressed?"

"Not for the time being," he answers, fetching the straps. His clothes do give him some modesty, though it's hardly difficult to tell there's a rather obvious bulge in his trousers. But satisfying himself is not his current focus, so there's no need for his clothes to be off. In fact he's rather enjoying being more or less fully clothed while Andrew is so exposed.

"Right, make yourself comfortable," he says, patting Andrew's stomach. "One wrist to each bedpost, I think," he considers.

"That doesn't seem fair of you," quips Andrew, trying to hide the way he swallows self-consciously now that he's learned it's more than a matter of James simply neglecting to get his kit off in his hurry. He hesitates for several long moments before sinking down onto the mattress and adjusting the pillow under his head, then several seconds more before he takes a deep breath and stretches out his arms.

"Who said I had to be fair?" he answers with a smile. Once Andrew stretched out his arms, he leans down and gives him a soft kiss, as reassurance. Then he attaches one end of the strap to the cuff, and the other to the bedpost, adjusting the length and making sure it's secure. Then he walkes around to the other side of the bed and does the same there.

He gives Andrew enough length to have plenty of wiggleroom and to be able to bend his arms somewhat, but not enough that he can actually reach any part of his own body.

"How's that? Try pulling on them a bit," he says, sitting next to him and resting a hand on Andrew's chest, making sure to give him a little physical contact as a reminder that he's here to take care of him.

"I felt it was implied," says Andrew smartly. He stills, though, watching quietly as James does the first arm, and only just resisting the urge to reach over and fiddle with it before his partner can finish walking around the bed and get to the other. "You're going to make me self conscious."

Obediently, he tries to pull his arms in. His breath catches when the straps do, the cuffs firm against his skin as the ties hold and stop him. Sticking his tongue against his top teeth, he spreads his arms again before pulling hard inward, shaking the bed. It holds, and he turns a look on James that is momentarily one of fear before it melts back into exhilaration. "I seem to be tied down," he concludes, laughing because he needs to avoid taking it seriously right now.

James grins fondly at him. "Well, I know what to answer if anyone calls and asks for you. He's all tied up right now, can I take a message?" James jokes mildly, stroking Andrew's hair, then leaning down to kiss him again, still softly. "Let me know if you want to not be anymore," he says reassuringly, his hand now tracing the edge of his new collar.

Andrew snorts indelicately and tries to lean up into the kiss. It's harder now, with his arms spread; there's no way for him to get leverage and prop himself up. Short of trying to squirm up into a sitting position, there's not much he can do but let James dictate what happens.

"I'm alright," he insists. "But don't answer the phone if anyone does call."

"I'm not that inconsiderate," he answers. "And I'm pretty sure I'll be too distracted for the thought even to occur to me." When he kisses him again, he leans far enough down that Andrew himself can decide just how firm the kiss should be, while James lets his hand slide down Andrew's side, and all the way down to the inside of his thigh, though he avoids his erection for now.

"I take it this is good for now, or would you like some for your ankles as well?" he asks, in case Andrew has bee too scared to ask himself. If he does want to, James will make sure that Andrew's sure - he doesn't want him to be overwhelmed. At least these straps are extremely quick to unfasten, so Andrew really doesn't need to be held down any longer than he wants to.

Andrew's really not sure where the line between teasing him and being 'inconsiderate' lies. James seems to know, though, so maybe it'll be alright to just...let him do what he will. Andrew arches his back, spreading his legs just a little in invitation, wanting to draw out that touch to his inner thigh...and direct it to where he needs it. Andrew twists his neck to try to press a kiss to James's hair when he leans down, though the angle is awkward and it comes across as more of a nuzzle. "Is that...is that so?" he asks, trying to be suave and alluring about it but finding that his insecurity shines through instead. "You'd look more gorgeous with your kit off," he suggests, not really getting why James hasn't undressed yet when it makes him feel so vulnerable to be the only nude one in the room. Of course, he's not so much thinking (or letting himself think) about how that feeling gives him a twinge of enjoyment.

"Mmmm," he answers, trying to gauge just how bothered Andrew is by it - the line between teasing and inconsiderate. He doesn't seem too unsettled by it, just exposed, and that's how James wants him to feel. "Later. We've got plenty of time, and I mostly intend to use my hands and mouth for now," he smiles.

He then pushes himself up and gets out of bed just briefly so he can crawl over, kneeling between Andrew's legs. He gives Andrew a smile and makes sure he still looks comfortable, his palms resting flat on insides of his thighs, gently urging them apart. "You're going to have to be more specific than that," he tells him. "Though the 'please' is a very good start." He notes that Andrew's problem has more to do with embarrassement or vocalising thoughts rather than coherence and presence of mind - otherwise he might've given him a pass.

"Ja-ames!" Andrew thumps his head back against the pillow and puts in a good upward thrust -- so there, he'll just disobey. He stills again with an effort, though, not really wanting to get what he wants without James's okay.
